Weather Across the Seasons

Here are some pictures that show us working on the Smartboard trying to understand the weathers across the seasons:

Today we learned that:

• when the seasons change, the weather changes too


• the Earth has a cycle of seasons



• if the seasons did not change, then we could not survive



• people and other living things change too to survive



• animals make decisions to fly away to a warmer place



• we read the book The Little Yellow Leaf and learned that in Fall, there is wind that helps the leaves fall on the ground.

We then created a dance for the leaf falling down. We used the movement words: hanging on, dancing, twirling and then ending on the ground. You can watch our dance below:
